If you are surrendering a Meller’s chameleon, please note that a document must be signed, stating that you relinquish all rights to the animal. This is standard in animal rescue.
If you want to have an experienced person rehabilitate your ill melleri, and then return it to you, it is best if you nurse it yourself or surrender it. Melleri do not do well with multiple relocations; they can have relapses of illness after being transferred. Your vet and advice from this group can help you home-nurse your melleri.
