The Clutch Report
2008 CH Clutches
Patrick Bonilauri of France hatched 52 (3 died) of 63 CB eggs August 19-26th, 2008. At present, he has 49 healthy CBs. Congratulations to the first known French Captive Breeder of this species!
Once again, the MD is tracking reports of gravid WC females and clutches of potential CH offspring. This could be vital for preventing inbreeding in the future, as well as confirming age and source of melleri that have more than one owner in their lifetime.
WC DOA clutch #1 = 73 eggs
WC female laid clutch #2 = 83 eggs
WC female laid clutch #3 = 92 eggs
WC female laid clutch #4 = 60 eggs
This data was submitted Feb-March 2008 by Mike Monge of FL Chams.
Update: Mike hatched these four clutches at near 100% success rate. Hatching began May 28, 2008. See the Videos to watch them hatch!
